For the last decade, Dana’s career in medicine has been marked by continuous growth, an insatiable drive for excellence, and a patient-first philosophy that has shaped her approach to healthcare. Dana's medical journey began at Cleveland Clinic Florida in Weston, where she gained invaluable experience as a post-operative and Med/Surg nurse before transitioning to the operating room. There, she was selected for the prestigious AORN Perioperative Residency Program, refining her expertise in surgical patient care. Her dedication to advancing patient outcomes led her to Cleveland Clinic Martin North in Stuart, FL where she worked in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) and Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) while completing her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) and Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) certification. Dana's leadership in post-operative care became indispensable—not just to her patients but to her fellow healthcare professionals. She served as a primary point of contact for post-operative concerns, offering round-the-clock guidance to ensure optimal recovery, particularly during evenings, weekends, and holidays when patients often feel most vulnerable. After earning her board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC) through ANCC, Dana expanded her role further, becoming a First Assist to board-certified vascular surgeons in the same OR where she once circulated as a nurse. She took full responsibility for managing these high-risk surgical patients, overseeing their inpatient care, surgical recovery, and long-term follow-ups. Dana's leadership in post-operative care became indispensable—not just to her patients but to her fellow healthcare professionals. She served as a primary point of contact for post-operative concerns, offering round-the-clock guidance to ensure optimal recovery, particularly during evenings, weekends, and holidays when patients often feel most vulnerable.While deeply experienced in surgical and critical care, Dana eventually shifted her focus to primary care, realizing she had a passion for a unique, patient-centered style of healthcare.
